The bubblewrap technology revolution keeps
going thanks to the latest developments by COLINES spa. The new third-layer
unit, able to in-line laminate a widest range of supports, such as paper,
aluminium and foam. The bubble forming calender can produce very thin films
at really high speeds (over 100 m/min), while the two-shaft Duplex Plus
winder grants a very high winding-speed and quality and an extremely fast
change-cycle-time: less than 50 seconds even with widths of more than 3000
mm. The line can be equipped with the revolutionary twin-screw extruder, which
can guarantee dramatic energy saving and enable the user to process a high
quantity of recycled material.
